On the distribution of Vagrans egista (Cramer, 1780) in West Bengal, India

چکیده
Vagrans egista (Cramer, 1780) is reported for the first time from southern part of West Bengal, India. The Raygar forest Bankura district in plateau region second locality species which extends distribution range (aerial distance: 525 km) its known locality, Buxa Tiger Reserve Alipurduar state. This paper also reports occurrence Rapala pheretima and Gerosis bhagava time. Importance an invasive plant, Mikania micrantha has been discussed as a nectaring plant butterflies.
